Spydspissen Wilderness Adventures is a company in Rendalen in Norway that offers Wilderness Adventures in the mountains.

We have nature near untouched by human activities and total silence. A lot of wild animals live in this area like moose, bear, lynx, eagle, wolf and deer. Fishing is very popular recreation both for tourist and locals in Rendalen.

After a trip with us we can guarantee that you have something to write home about. The experiences we give you are nothing like after-ski, minibars or discotheques. You will get to know the genuine local traditions in this part of Norway. We can offer you different and very special ways to stay over night; like small traditional mountain-cabins with no tapped water or electricity or we offer you a good night sleep in a lavvo.

In the summer we move in canoes, kayaks, by foot or horseback riding in amazing quiet mountains. In this way you can get really feel the nature and get close to and may be see wild animals. In the winter we offer tours with your own

dogsled either for one day or over night in the snowy mountains. The tours bring you in contact with traditions from famous Norwegians like Leonard Seppala, Fritjof Nansen and Helge Ingstad and their experiences in old arctic areas like Alaska, Canada, Siberia and Greenland. The sleddogs are friendly hard working dogs that love to pull your sled. What you get from Spydspissen Wilderness Adventures is unique, different, wild, exciting, quiet and very special for only a few people.
