Payment and terms

Booking

You must be over 18 years old to make a booking.
You can make a booking by telephone or by e-mail. When we have registered your booking you will receive a confirmation from us. Booking deadlines are three weeks in advance for organised activities. For tailor made activities there are no deadlines. But to be sure to get want you like we recommend you to book as early as possible.  For activities and packages with duration longer than one day the booking is valid when 50% or more of the total sum is paid.

Payment

All activities must be paid before the activity starts. 1-day or shorter activities can be paid in cash on arrival or by invoice prior to arrival. If invoice is used a valid receipt must be presented on arrival.

All activities with a duration longer then 1 day must be fully paid no later than the booking deadline or 14 days prior to the start of the activity (whatever comes last).

Insurance and safety

Individual participants are responsible for their own private travel insurance and other types of insurance they find necessary, and we do recommend that the clients takes out personal travel insurance. Spydspissen Wilderness adventures can’t be held responsible for any kind of loss or injury whatever the cause may be.

Participants themselves must decide whether they are, or are not, mentally and physically suited for the demands expected of them. We can not be held economically liable for accidents or injury. Liability is also disclaimed by the company for delays or extra costs incurred outside our control. Spydspissen reserves the right to deny a customer's participation in activities if the customer poses a threat to oneself or to other participants or staff members. All participants must sign a waiver accepting personal responsibility for his/her participation in activities. The waiver will be presented to the customer on request or upon booking.

Most our activities are not suited for children under the age of 12. We can design activities suited for children between 6 years old up to 12 yeras old on request. It is always the parents responisbilty that the children are mentally and physically suited for the activities and the ourdoor conditions.

Cancellations

Cancellations from client must be done in writing.

Cancellations done by the client more than six weeks prior to the activity will be refunded with 100% of the already paid sum. Cancellations done by the client between six and three weeks prior to the activity will be refunded with 50% of the already paid sum. Cancellation after three weeks prior to the activity will not be refunded unless there is a special agreement between the client and Spydspissen.

Change of program may be necessary

We reserve the right to make any necessary changes or cancellation. Changes will not affect the price. Cancellations made by Spydspissen Wilderness Adventures will be refunded 100%. Cancellation or change of any activity or arrangement may be necessary for safety reasons or other unforeseen incidents up to the time of departure/start.

Climate quotas

We buy climate quotas to compensate for emission caused by our transportation and we also appriciate that our guests buy climate quotas to compensate for the travel to us. You can buy climate quotas for UN sertificated projects here.
